Triangle Japan shall protect client personal information, enhance employee consciousness and take appropriate measures toward personal information protection in compliance with the Travel Agency Law.

All personal information are only allow to be used within the scope of the given purpose, except where Triangle Japan is required by an order under the law to do otherwise. When the necessity arises to use personal information beyond the scope stipulated in this Privacy Policy, Triangle Japan shall obtain consent from the individual to the purpose intended.

In order to ensure the accuracy and security of personal information, Triangle Japan shall strive for proper management of personal information, and take preventive and corrective measures against any unauthorized access to, loss of, destruction of, falsification of, and leakage of personal information.

Triangle Japan shall provide consumers with the consultation services to handle inquiries and complaints of consumers regarding their personal information processed by Privacy Mark granted entities.

Triangle Japan shall comply with applicable laws, guidelines, principles and other standards established by Japan to ensure personal information is protected.

Triangle Japan DMC Ltd. (hereafter referred to as Triangle Japan) will handle acquired customers’ personal information such as the name, address, telephone number, email address, and gender under this privacy policy.

The provision of personal information by the customer is voluntary. However, it shall be noted that cases in which certain personal information is not provided, the services provided by Triangle Japan cannot be used by the customer.

Purpose of Use

Triangle Japan will use the acquired personal information for the following purposes:

To handle travel agreements with customers

To process transportation and lodging reservations which customers have applied for
To handle travel insurance which guarantees monetary costs in case of accidents under Triangle Japan travel contract responsibilities

Employee privacy information will be used on administrative control, payroll management, human resource management, social insurance management, employment welfare management, recruitment and retirement process or any related procedure required by law that shall be executed.
Job applicant privacy information will be used on screening process and hiring results purpose.

Safety Measures to Manage and Protect Personal Information

Triangle Japan will conduct safety measures to prevent the leak, loss, or damage of personal information. In addition, employees will be trained regularly for this purpose.

Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

Triangle Japan will provide the customers’ personal information (name, nationality, birth date, passport number etc.) to third-party vendors such as transportation carriers and hotels by fax or e-mail, to handle the travel arrangements which the customer has applied for.

Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Retained Personal Information

The purpose of use of personal information which Triangle Japan possesses can be requested for notification or disclosure upon request. If there are errors in the content the customer can demand correction, addition, deletion, suspension, erasure, and provision to third parties.

Disclosure of information may require a handling fee.
